Tamara lived her life in the fast lane. Whatever she chose to do she achieved with great dedication and determination, whether related to her medical career as an anaesthetist at York Hospital, arranging social events for groups of family or friends or raising a family whilst working full time.
All who met Tamara will have a personal recollection of the positive whirlwind that they had encountered; someone who always went that little bit further, who was always full of ideas and who always gave 100% attention (or more!!).
The staff of St Leonard’s Hospice@Home and the Hospice itself provided great personal, clinical and psychological care to Tamara and her supporters as her brain tumour reduced her capacity. Thank you for all your care for a wonderful woman.
My Mum was wonderfully cared for at St Leonard's hospice now almost 6 years ago. My husband and I wanted to donate as part of our wedding gift to help the hospice be able to continue to provide the outstanding care to people in their hours of need.
